Landing collect symbols allow you to collect any coins present on the screen. Their value ranges from 0.40x to 25x the player’s stake. Landing two coins and a collect symbol triggers the Hold & Respin bonus.

The Hold & Respin feature starts with three spins that are reset whenever a coin lands. Coins are only collected when a collect symbol appears. Filling the grid with coins pays an additional prize of 35.52x your bet. I managed to activate the bonus once and won £90.52. 

You can get eight free spins by landing three scatters. During free spins, a collect symbol is locked in the middle reel. In addition, wild reels can also appear during the feature, covering the second and fourth reels. In my opinion, the free spins bonus was pretty bland.

Some Technical Considerations About Wild Storm Legionnaire

It’s time to get into the nitty-gritty. You know, the things you look for if you’re a slot enthusiast like me. I made sure to read the rules to understand everything there is to know about the game’s bets, RTP, and volatility.

The game accepts bets from £0.25 and £125. This range is usually enough for most players, although I think the minimum bet could be a little lower.

As for the RTP, it has a default setting of 96%. However, there are two additional versions with RTPs of 94% and 90.5%. I recommend avoiding these, as the lower percentage can make a difference in the long run.

The volatility has a medium/high setting, so wins can be a mixture of high and low amounts, but are likely to appear a little less frequently. As such, I’d say it requires some patience, as you may come across long losing streaks.

Why Do I Think Wild Storm Legionnaire Stands Out?

Any slot themed after the Roman Empire is already a win in my books. However, I think Wild Storm Legionnaire provides a better experience than other games of its genre, especially if you’re into respins, and wilds with multipliers.

A maximum win of 1,840x isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s not bad, either. I also liked how players have the chance to quadruple their prizes by getting two wilds in the same winning combination. Lastly, the £125 maximum bet was also perfect for me.

On the flip side, the layout of the reels isn’t ideal. In my opinion, the provider should’ve opted for a more traditional 5x4 design. In addition, some casinos can adjust the slot’s default RTP to a different setting, so I’d pay attention to that.
