I played Wild Jack 81: Here’s what I think
Wild Jack 81 is a classical fruit slot with an American Western theme. If you like classic slots with a twist, then you’re in for a wild ride with this game. Wazdan released this slot in 2014, and it’s ideal for any type of player with its low-medium volatility. You can learn more about what bonus features and graphics you can expect to find in the game when you read my Wild Jack 81 slot review.
My screenshots of the gameplay
My first order of business is to provide some screenshots of my gameplay. If you’re considering playing this game, I know you’d like to have a better idea of what you’re getting into. After all, no one wants an angry bull charging down at them without the proper training and tools.
You’ll see colourful graphics and symbols, paylines, paytable rewards, and win screens. With this being a classic slot, there aren’t many bonus features or hidden game mechanics. Everything is as you see it, for the most part.
Is Wild Jack 81 the slot for you?
This online slot is ideal for bankroll players. If you like colourful symbols following a cartoon design, then you’ll have fun spinning the reels of this slot. However, should classic slots with minimum bonus features not be your cup of tea, then you might not enjoy taunting the bull in this game.
Below, I list some of the game’s pros and cons that can help you make up your mind on whether this slot is worthwhile for you to play.

How I placed my first bet on Wild Jack 81
Before I started playing this game, I completed certain steps to ensure I could safely play and enjoy it. If you need some guidance to get started, use my experience below as a guideline.
First, I registered at a new online casino I wanted to try out. You have to ensure any casino you sign up with has a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence. You can also check for specific features, like fast withdrawals, a massive gaming library, or low deposits.
I verified my account according to UKGC regulations. You don’t always need to verify your account fully to deposit and play games. However, you’ll have to do it before you can withdraw. I always recommend you save yourself time and do it at the beginning.
Then, I made my first deposits using my debit card. If you want to claim the registration bonus, you first need to check whether there are any deposit requirements. Otherwise, you can also look for free spins bonuses that you might be able to use on this slot. I recommend making the lowest deposit possible, in my case €10, to test the site and game.
Next, I found and opened the slot. The fastest way, in my experience, to find this slot is to type its name in the search bar. However, it’ll also be listed under a Classic Slots heading or its provider, Wazdan.
I examined the payables and adjusted my bet. I first read the paytable so I know what to expect from the game. This way, you can see the possible payouts, bonuses, and game mechanics. Then, I changed my bet to the lowest amount, €0.20 in this case, and started playing.
I only spin the reels 20 times. You can decide on how many times to spin the reels before you start playing. I chose 20, but you can decide on any number that your bankroll can comfortably support at the amount you’re betting.
My Initial Impression of this slot
When I opened the slot, I felt a little overwhelmed. If you’re like me, then many different bright colours can confuse your eyes. However, I soon became used to it and started appreciating the cartoon-like design of the symbols and slot elements.
Classical design and graphics
This slot embodies everything I think of when I think of a “slot machine.” It’s vibrant, has cheerful, loud, Western-style music, and the low-paying symbols are fruit like raspberries, grapes, and watermelons.
The mid-paying symbols are Western items, like a cowbell, sheriff star badge, and the red 7 symbols. Lastly, the high-paying symbols are the Bar symbol and the Red Bull symbol. Jack, the mischievous cowboy, acts as the wild symbol.
This slot is actually a sequel to the original Wild Jack Wazdan slot. However, despite remaining a classic slot, it definitely got an upgrade in the graphics department. The symbols look the same for the most part. However, the design is more modern, boasting a 4-reel, 3-row grid and a slightly more realistic background.
The desert is in the background, with cactus and fencing above the reels. The people talking that were present in the background of the first slot have been removed, leaving only the upbeat Western music.
Does this slot have a storyline?
This slot follows the same storyline as its original title. You follow Jack as he tries to ride the angry bull, which refers back to the century-old tradition of bull riding. While it originated in Mexico, it soon spread to the rest of the American continent.
This slot explores Jack as he tries to tame the bull, though it doesn’t seem likely he’ll succeed. Still, his jolly expression shows he’s more than up for the challenge. The slot doesn’t go too much into detail on bull riding, simply showing the bull and the cowboy.
If you enjoy this theme but maybe want something more modern, you can try out Play’n GO’s slot, Bull in a Rodeo. Another option is Ride’ Em Cowboy from Habanero, which also has a comically cartoon-like art style.
Did I find any bonus games?
I’m always excited to test a slot’s bonus features, as that’s often a major factor in what makes a game appealing. If you like free spins or other bonus features, then this isn’t the slot for you. This title only has one special in-game feature, and it isn’t free spins.
The slot typically has seven paylines. However, when the wild lands on the reels, no matter its position, it activates 81 paylines instead. That way, you might land wins that previously wouldn’t have been eligible. While the wild lands fairly often on the reels, it doesn’t always result in a win.
The other feature isn’t really a traditional in-game bonus but rather a gamble feature. You can gamble any win by clicking on the button with the coin stack and 2x indicator. You have to choose whether the card flipping from black to red will land on red or black. If you guess correctly, you get double your win.
If you make an incorrect guess, you lose the entire win. You can only double your win seven consecutive times before the feature automatically ends if you don’t guess one incorrectly. All of this information is available in the paytable to ensure you have a full understanding of what to expect.
The game has special multipliers, though it’s not the traditional type of multiplier. These multipliers can award up to a specific amount on all symbols. The low-paying symbols fall between 1x and 2x. For the mid-paying ones, it falls between 2x and 10x. The high-paying symbols pay between 12x and 60x, while the wild can pay out up to 120x.
Is Wild Jack 81’s RTP good?
This slot has an RTP of 96.73%, which falls within the expected industry average. If you’re wondering, this is a good RTP, as it’s about what I expect for online slots, which typically have RTPs of 96%. Considering this is a classical slot, which often has lower RTPs, I’m even happier with it.
By looking at the original slot, I can also see this one has a slightly higher RTP, as the original title had a 96.25% RTP. The slot’s volatility is low to medium, meaning it’s ideal for any player, no matter your bankroll. Low volatility slots mean players can expect fairly regular payouts, albeit they will usually be on the smaller side.
The betting range starts at €0.20, but the demo game lets you bet up to €10,000. However, even without the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) regulations limiting the maximum bet, no casino will have €10,000 as the maximum bet. As it is, players can bet up to €2 or €5, depending on whether they’re under 25 years of age or older.
Why did Wild Jack 81 stand out for me?
Wild Jack 81 is an interesting slot to play. If you want a game with colourful reels and straightforward gameplay, then this is your chance. However, if you want a game with innovative bonus features, then you might not want to choose this bull. I found it to be a good slot to play when I want to take a break from complicated bonus features or when I just want to enjoy the essence of slots.
