The visuals running through it make it appealing in the first instance and keep you hooked as you continue playing. I found myself really wanting to trigger the special features, and once they did hit, I wasn’t disappointed.

The background design of this slot is impressive, leading you into an enchanted forest area. The more you stare at it, the more you realise that everything is slightly warped. The trees either move or appear to move, while fireflies glow as they fly around the place. It’s a really well-thought-out setting for Unicorn Reels. And speaking of the slot’s reels, it is upon these that you will find the various game symbols. Some of these will look familiar, such as the playing card suits, with others being game-specific, like the potion bottle.

Gameplay and mechanics

Once the bonus round ends, a prize is paid for the number of collected unicorn symbols. Collect 25 of them to win the maximum payout of 1,000x your stake.

One thing you should absolutely know about Unicorn Reels is that the game has a 96.14% RTP rate. This highlights how much you can expect to win back from the slot over time. Unicorn Reels on mobile

There are two modes for Unicron Reels on mobile, a lite and a high-quality mode and in all honesty, I was impressed by neither of them. The logo sits in the top half of the screen and dominates most of the display. 

The controls are placed together messily, and the whole affair feels very cramped. I also wasn’t a fan of how small the machine and its reels look crammed into what feels like less than a third of the screen.

Unfortunately, if I had a choice I’d choose to play this slot on my desktop as that version doesn’t suffer from the same issues it has on either Android or iOS devices.
