Here’s what I think about the gameplay

Having already played the rest of the Money Cart games, I wasn’t surprised by this version. However, if you are new to it, you may be wondering where the rest of the slot is! 

My first impressions were good and I was already expecting the lack of a base game. I first headed into the betting controls to see the range of wagers. These span from €0.10 to €60 which isn’t too bad if you have a regular-sized budget. 

The next factor I checked was the layout. There are 6 reels and 4 rows, but no paylines.

I then headed into the paytable to check the main symbols. These are a red bonus dot which reveals prizes between 1 and 10 coins, and the black cog is a non-winning symbol.

What’s the story behind Money Cart 4?

If you have played any of the other online casino slots from this saga, you’ll notice that the time zone has altered slightly! These slots have gone from the old Wild West to a futuristic Terminator-like environment. You’ve still got some of the cowboy characters, but many have been replaced with Mad Max lookalikes.

I was a huge fan of the Money Train collection from Relax, with Money Train 2 being one of my all-time faves. So I did a little dance for joy when these Money Cart games were released. This fourth chapter was launched in 2024, and my research shows that it’s a popular choice for players.

My thoughts on the design and user experience

I think the graphics are superb. Intricate, eye-catching and dramatic are all words I would use to describe the overall design. 

The layout is similar to its predecessors but the smoky dystopian backdrop gave a sense of seriousness! I was pleased to be able to play the slot for free first as the mechanism took me a while to get used to. Navigation was simple, though, and all the controls were easy to locate.

Let’s talk about the bonus features

You’ll spin until you get a ReSpin, basically, and this is the main extra to this game. 

ReSpins

I found these easy to trigger, and all you need are 3+ of the bonus symbols. For each activation, I got a Persistent (gold) symbol, which substituted the symbol that activated the feature. I was then awarded a further 3 ReSpins whenever I landed an extra bonus symbol. 

This is where the special symbols come into play, too. This Relax Gaming slot has packed plenty in so take your time to get familiar with them.

Whenever I filled a row with symbols during the ReSpins, an extra row was added. I discovered that this can occur up to a max of 4 times in any round. You can also activate further rows if you land the Unlocker special symbol.

I tested the slot with bets from €0.10 to the maximum of €60. Though the majority of my wagers were between €10 and €40.

How I tested Money Cart 4

I used my trusty Samsung smartphone with Google Chrome for a mobile overview. I then tried half of my bets with a Windows-powered laptop, also with Chrome. I found little difference between the two in terms of performance. The game loaded quickly, though it was easier to distinguish the special symbols on the desktop.

My final thoughts on Money Cart 4

I was already a fan of this collection and loved the original version, which boosted a massive RTP of 98%. So, I was a little disappointed to see 96% with this fourth instalment. But I can forgive the developer due to the sheer volume of bonuses. The list of Modifiers is huge, and the ReSpins happen frequently. Though if you aren’t lucky enough to achieve these then I think some of you could get bored as there’s zero base game action. 

The earning potential is good, though, and the top prize of 15,000x is fantastic. As is the betting range, which means those of you on a smaller budget can join in with just a €0.10 wager. 

Overall, if you are looking for something different to the norm, then I highly recommend Money Cart 4.
