Games Global has entered into an exclusive deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts (MMA) company, committing to develop unique, branded content influenced by the sports brand.

The UFC is the world’s premier MMA brand, and the partnership further highlights the sway Games Global has in the iGaming industry. Through the deal, the software developer will produce unique UFC-themed slot titles, which will be released across a three-year period.

The first of these games is set to be released and ready for its global rollout in July of 2024. This will follow on from an exclusive soft launch in May.

Globally recognised by more than 700 million fans as the most enjoyable MMA organisation, the UFC has around 260 million followers on social media. It produces over 40 live events every year, and these events take place in some of the most prestigious arenas.

To reach a wider audience, they are also broadcast to more than 975 million television households, expanding to 170 countries.

UFC has a similar target audience to Games Global, which is why this deal between the two companies provides each with exciting opportunities. The ability to collaborate on new games for the iGaming market gives both the chance at recruiting new fans and players.

The UFC, for one of its commitments in the deal, will promote and support the launch of the slots through its global marketing ecosystem.

Both Sides Looking Forward to the Collaboration

“Games Global is thrilled to announce this knockout partnership with UFC, bringing the Octagon to life across multiple epic slot titles in the next few years”, said Andy Booth, chief product officer for the software company.

He went on to state that the deal will allow Games Global to develop the themed slots for “millions of UFC fans who share our passion for action and entertainment”.

Booth went on to highlight that the partnership with UFC is very significant for the company. His closing comment noted the anticipation being felt over the launch of the first UFC-branded title due in the coming months.

His thoughts on the deal were echoed by the SVP of licensing for UFC, Tracey Bleczinski. She said that UFC is always looking for unique ways to engage with its fanbase around the world. “This exciting new partnership with Games Global allows us to do just that by bringing the intensity and energy of the Octagon to life through unique UFC-themed slot titles”.

She continued on by stating that she believes UFC fans will make the games from the developer a big hit and spoke of how proud the sports brand is to be working with Games Global. Bleczinski said that the partnership will provide a “world-class entertainment experience” for all those who choose to play the games.

Games Global isn’t the only brand to have united with UFC in 2024, either. In February, an announcement was made by Stake.com, which said it had entered into a deal to become the official partner of UFC Asia. That deal is set to further expand the reach of the company across the Asian continent.

It’s also the case that UFC signed a deal with crash game developer Spribe at the end of 2023. This made the pair official partners, with the multi-year deal seeing Spribe receive prominent branding at select UFC Pay-Per-Views and Fight Nights.

Other Moves Made by Games Global Recently

While UFC has been signing deals with different brands here, there and everywhere, it’s not the only one to be making such moves. Games Global has also united with other companies and brands over the past few months.

In April, it was announced that it had partnered with Caesars Entertainment to launch a new online slot game. Entitled Caesars Palace Frenzy, the game launched in the iGaming scene within New Jersey. Plans have also been put in place to release the exclusive game in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

That stood out as part of a specific, strategic plan by Caesars to deliver high-end iGaming products. It said it would do this by joining forces with the world’s best software developers and suppliers.

Caesars Palace Frenzy is only available at Caesars’ online casino sites, and it features a jackpot, free spins round, excellent graphics, and more, keeping players entertained.

At the end of 2023, Games Global also united itself with the Betsson Group. That deal sees it provide select live dealer casino content via its OnAir Entertainment brand.

Through it, anyone playing at a Betsson site will be able to access the live casino content coming from Games Global. As well as traditional games like blackjack and roulette, players will also have the chance to experience titles like Travel Fever and Majestic Wheelshow.

At the time of the deal announcement, the live casino manager for Betsson Group, Chelly Anne Cassar, commented that the collaboration promises to benefit the company and its players. “Gaining access to OnAir Entertainment’s entire live casino game portfolio represents a remarkable leap forward for us”, she said.
