Darwin Gaming Enters Latin America with Sportingtech Deal
The portfolio of online and mobile-friendly games from the Darwin Gaming brand will be coming to the Latin American market. The Maltese brand has partnered with well-known iGaming platform provider Sportingtech in a deal that will expand its reach.
The terms of the partnership will see Darwin add over 60 high-quality games to the Sportingtech platform. This includes many popular titles within its collection, like Baccarat Evolution, Crash Single, Wasabi Whiskers: All You Can Eat, and Tiger Bingo. Sportingtech is already responsible for providing a huge selection of more than 100,000 games to the online world, coming from over 100 top software developers.
The inclusion of Darwin Gaming’s titles will expand this catalogue even more. One-of-a-kind experiences through games are what Darwin aims for in all its releases. Its portfolio features exciting, top-quality titles, which will appeal to the Latin American audience. Already, releases like instant win games with a football theme, as well as blackjack and bingo options, are making waves. They will stand out as a vast part of the improved collection at Sportingtech via the partnership.
Not only that, but with this deal, Sportingtech has further sealed its position as the world’s number one when it comes to providing games in Latin America. The brand provides a tailored approach that many online developers prefer.
Darwin Gaming Offers Titles in Spanish and Portuguese
Sportingtech has recently placed a focus on catering to the Latin American market, which ties in perfectly with the games from Darwin. Its games are compatible with the scene, as they are accessible in both Spanish and Portuguese. Thus, because the area is so diverse, the games will provide their own unique appeal for the continent’s players.
Speaking on behalf of the Sportingtech brand, the senior commercial manager, Robert Nevill, said that the company is delighted to partner up with Darwin Gaming. This, he said, will “continue enhancing” the company’s portfolio of online games. That’s ideal at this time, “when trends and tastes are ever-changing”.
He also highlighted that Sportingtech has placed all its confidence in Darwin Gaming for its mobile gaming expertise. Nevill also noted the “rich LatAm-themed releases” from the developer, which are likely to “thrill players” by providing them with new experiences.
Further cementing those thoughts on the deal, the chief operating officer for Darwin, Rui Pena, said that the partnership with Sportingtech offers “a vital step” for the brand. “We are pleased that our portfolio has found a home on their reliable, dynamic platform”.
The comments were finalised by Pena noting that with Darwin’s products being added to the Sportingtech platform, it can “diversify and customise” its offerings even more. “I am certain this will be achieved”, he said.
More on Sportingtech
Sportingtech provides gaming operators around the world with the very best in turnkey solutions. Like Darwin Gaming, the brand has its headquarters in Malta, and holds an official gambling licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
Yet offices held by Sportingtech can be found in six locations around the world, with the company having more than 10 years of experience behind it.
In January of 2024, a new CEO was appointed in Tom Ustunel, who was previously the betting and gaming director for News UK. He has since been in charge of spearheading the brand’s expansion plans.
This includes the brand’s intent to continue enhancing its worldwide reputation. It already exists as the number one provider in Latin America. Additional plans are in place to expand into Brazil now that regulations are imminent in the country.
Ustunel took over the CEO position from Bobby Longhurst, who had been assigned the position in 2022, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the role. So, Sportingtech has always been in good hands.
The platform has built up its reputation and status, thanks to forging partnerships with many developers around the world. Back in 2022, the brand had an instant impact on the African gaming scene, when it entered an agreement with 888AFRICA. This saw it enter four very diverse markets in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Zambia within just a couple of months.
It then went live in Brazil, highlighting its status in the Latin American market once more. Now, with Darwin Gaming’s products also included in its portfolio, there is more than ever before on offer to the industry.
