How to place your first bet on Bill & Coin

You need to make sure you place the correct bet on Bill & Coin before you spin its reels. I like the fact that the game has such an extensive betting range as well, with values running between €0.20 per spin to €100 per spin. So, how do you choose the right wager for you and your bankroll?

Well, you need to look at the bottom of the game screen. There, you will see various buttons, with a (+) and (–) button at either side of the wager value. Clicking on those buttons allows you to change the bet value you bring into play per spin. Whenever you are happy with the amount chosen, you can spin the reels.

To do this, you need to navigate across to the middle of the screen at the bottom. There, you will see the circular spin button. Press this, and the reels will present you with the result. My first moments playing this slot 

When I played Bill & Coin for the first time, I found the game's overall design pretty inviting. I first noticed the coin on the right-hand side of the reels, wearing a top hat and smoking a cigar. How suave! Then, there is the dollar bill character on the left, clutching a cane and twirling his moustache. Clearly, these cheeky chaps serve as the inspiration behind this slot’s title.

I was also struck by the game's general design, with all the graphics looking crisp and the layout of the slot having an easy-to-use nature. Let’s say that I was compelled to carry on playing.

Fruits you can taste appear on the reels

If you know anything about online slots, you’ll know that fruit symbols are a popular theme. It’s become a staple for many developers for their games. This Relax Gaming slot has followed a similar pattern but has crafted the symbols so intricately that you can feel yourself salivating at the thought of a sweet grape or juicy cherry. They are joined on the reels by playing card symbols for lower payouts, and additions like the 7, the bell and the diamond.

I was filled with such positivity when playing this slot, and what makes it more appealing is that the developer has included an easy-going, almost calming soundtrack into it. This keeps you relaxed and ready to proceed with your spins while maintaining your interest in Bill & Coin.

Some online slots have a storyline built into them that you will easily recognise. Others don’t. Bill & Coin certainly falls into the latter, but it doesn’t need to have one anyway. Let’s talk about the bonus games you’ll find

As well as a thrilling base game to play, Bill & Coin also includes its own special features. I previously noted the Dream Drop jackpots, and if you land a large DD symbol anywhere, this activates the Dream Drop bonus round. At this point, you see two jackpot wheels, which need to stop on the same jackpot name to trigger a corresponding payout.

When I played, I landed three bonus symbols, triggering the bonus pick feature. From this, I was able to choose one of three different rounds. They are:

• Coin Track – Four coins exist on the Coin Track, which surrounds the reels. At the start of a spin, coins move a single step clockwise. The bonus ends when the first coin reaches the end of that track. Enhancer, Collect, and Re-Spin symbols can also land on the reels in the feature.

• Multiplier Ladder – This is the bonus round I played, with five free spins provided. A 1x multiplier is also active at the start. With every spin, this increases, and after every win is formed. The maximum this can reach is 500x, and for every five bonus symbols landing, an extra 5 free spins are awarded. I managed to achieve a payout of around 10x my base bet.

• Sure Win – Again, you start with five free spins, with a Sure Win of between 0.2x and 50x your bet in play. Normal wins in the round are added to the Sure Win. Multiple wins from a spin and the Sure Win is multiplied by the accumulated multiplier.

What’s more, on any initial win in the base game or in the Sure Win round, a win multiplier is activated and set at 1x. An additional win in the same round increases that multiplier.

Some technical considerations about Bill & Coin

The slot’s RTP rate is 94%, a couple of percent below the average for most slots at the best online casinos. It is my considered opinion that this RTP is too low. Make sure you factor this in when deciding on your slot wager.

It’s also important to consider that the slot is a high volatility release from the brand. This means wins won’t hit as frequently as they may in some other games. However, you can still win up to 10,000x your bet, which is a fantastic amount for me.

Why do I think Bill & Coin stands out?

It would be easy to dismiss Bill & Coin as another fruit-themed game. I think it deserves a bit more attention, though. The graphics help it to stand out, while the soundtrack is compelling. It features 4,096 ways to win and a maximum win of 10,000x your stake. When you add the chance of winning a Dream Drop jackpot into that, it stands out as being even more appealing.

Fruit-themed games won’t appeal to all, of course, and the 94% RTP rate is perhaps a little disheartening. However, place responsible bets in Bill & Coin, and all should be fine and dandy!
