Here’s what I think of Money Mansion

When I dream of slot payouts, the character of Pennywise from It doesn’t usually feature! If you love the idea of a haunted house of wins, you’re in for a treat. Since I’m not a horror fan, stepping into a place of nightmares didn’t appeal to me all that much. However, the cartoon-like graphics helped me warm up to this slot.

The vibrant graphics and animations gave it an immersive atmosphere that I could get on board with. There’s plenty of action in the base game and bonus rounds, too, so I was left with a positive impression. Even though there were supernatural horrors at every turn, Money Mansion gave me some nice surprises, too. Like the mummy on the reels, let’s unravel what I experienced.

Do I recommend Money Mansion?

Yes, I do recommend this online casino slot. If you’re a horror fan, you’ll love it, and if you’re not, you might warm up to this one, like I did. The characters are scary, but the cartoon graphics take the edge off. It’s not too grisly, although there are eyeballs no longer in their sockets and exposed bones.

What impresses me most about the style of this slot is that it’s not a carbon copy of other horror slots. It has superb animations and the look of a comic strip that adds another layer of interest.

As for the payouts, they’re helped along by the multipliers, which are attached to the Wild. The top-paying symbols are definitely worthwhile. However, I was disappointed by the low-value icons. Three 10s, Js, or Qs on a payline only get you 0.10x your bet. It doesn’t get much better as you move up; three Ks or As payout 0.25x your bet, and the eyeballs are 0.40x.

How to wager on Money Mansion for the first time

It’s time to pass through the gates and find out what lurks in the shadows. If you’re still working up the courage, don’t worry; I went on ahead.I found out which monsters were behind the doors and under the beds and have set out exactly how I did it below.

  1. Before things got scary, I found one of the best online casinos with Popiplay slots and, more specifically, Money Mansion. My main requirements were a site that has an app, is user-friendly and has fast transactions with flexible limits.

  2. With a site in mind, I created an account. I filled out the fields in the registration form, including my name, date of birth, email address, address, and phone number. Verifying my email only took a minute or two.

  3. Once my account was up and running, I could explore the casino’s bonuses. I paid close attention to the terms and conditions of the welcome offer so that I could make the most of it when playing.

  4. With the minimum deposit in mind, I headed to the cashier and added funds to my account. It was a painless process that took me five minutes at the most.

  5. I wanted to head straight for this game, so I entered the title in the search box and launched the slot.

  6. I had a good look around before betting. I used the menu to check the help page, paytable, and settings. I checked the 20 paylines, features, and rules. Finally, I used the plus and minus buttons to adjust my bet before spinning the reels.

Remember that you can always play a slot for free before spending any real money to get to grips with the gameplay.

My first impressions of this slot

When I launched the slot, I was immediately struck by the bright colours and mysterious atmosphere. If your idea of horror is a lot of black and red, this slot will challenge that. The moody blues and greys of the backdrop set the ideal tone.

In contrast, the bright colours of the reels made them stand out and draw attention to the monsters lurking within. While some of it was a bit grim, I appreciated the spine-chilling collection of characters.

A creepy comic strip

Once I looked past the scary zombies and clowns, I noticed details that made this slot even more attractive. The swaying lanterns and climbing vines enhance the immersive atmosphere. The intense music builds up in the background as I spin the reels. It’s a disturbing twist on the sounds of the funfair with some unnerving laughter thrown in.

My favourite aspect, though, is the pop art style. The textured grid over the backdrop, the dots on the playing card symbols and the frames all combine. It looks like a comic strip and something that the artist Roy Lichtenstein would create. For me, that took the edge off of the horror in just the right way.

Monster mash-Up

Dracula has been done, mummies have been done, and we’ve already seen scary clowns. This slot throws all these creatures together inside the mansion to make it a place filled with monsters. It makes the horror theme strong, and if not unique, then at least a little different.

I like that there’s a little extra depth here, as not everything is as it seems. When you finally see a special symbol on the reels, it’s a scared little girl. Whether you identify with her or want to rescue her, think again! When three of them land on the reels, she reveals her true face and intentions.

Money Mansion - bonus rounds and features

What I’m playing is Money Mansion, not Monster Mansion, so where are the features? If you’re prepared for things to get spookier, let’s look at the bonus features. I found that the scarier the slot got, the bigger the win potential was. The two special symbols are the zombie’s hand bursting out of the ground and the little girl.

The zombie's hand is the Wild, which substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus. It appears on reels two, three, and four. I liked that it was always accompanied by a 2x or 3x multiplier. When I got more than one Wild on a payline win, the multipliers were added together and then applied.

The little girl, who is possibly the scariest of all, is the Bonus symbol. She can land on reels one, three, and five and pays out 5x your bet when three land. Alongside the payout, the three girls also mean the start of the Free Spins round.

Before the bonus game started, I was whisked off to the hallway by the poltergeist. It flung open random doors with numbers behind them. When added up, they determined that I would play with 10 Free Spins. You can get between nine and 18.

The best bit about the Free Spins round is that the multiplier Wilds stick to the reels. I saw a few land halfway through, and they stayed until the end. Not only did those zombies help form wins, but they also boosted the payouts.

Money Mansion’s RTP

I discovered that the RTP is 96.10%, making it about average. As I expected from a horror slot, this game has very high volatility. Money Mansion is a wild ride, and the wins will be on the larger side. It allows the anticipation to build for long periods before anything happens. That’s not how I like to play, but it’ll suit some people.

It’s a 5x3 slot with 20 paylines, which pays from left to right. It’s compatible with multiple devices, so you can access it on your desktop PC, tablet or phone. I used my iPhone, but it works just as well on Android.

Why I chose Money Mansion

Not everyone likes horror slots, me included. If this had been a straightforward gory game, I wouldn’t recommend it, as I've seen plenty of those already. However, this slot has layers and, most importantly, decent bonuses.

It’s not dark and dull; it’s colourful and atmospheric. I really like the comic strip/pop art style that made this more interesting and vibrant. The animations and soundtrack added to the mood to make it immersive.

Another reason why this slot stands out is that the software provider has included two bonus features combined to great effect. The multiplier Wild is good in the base game but comes into its own during the bonus round. I saw more winning combinations and better payouts because it stuck to the reels throughout.
