Bet-at-Home Casino Compared to Other Casinos
About the Bet-at-home Bonus
New Bet-at-home customers benefit from a generous 50% first deposit bonus up to €100. Deposit €200, and you actually receive €300 credit. It’s a simple process, too: when you register and top up your account, you just click on the “Redeem bonus” button.
There are some terms and conditions, but nothing too demanding. Just remember to claim your bonus within 30 days of registration. That generous bonus is one of the reasons I rate Bet-at-home as a contender for best online sports betting company.
Bet-at-home Bonus Code
When you click on the “Redeem bonus” button, you are prompted for a password. To qualify, enter “WILLKOMMEN”. Like the rest of the Bet-at-home site, it’s quick, simple, and easy!
VIP Programme
Bet-at-home doesn’t have a VIP programme, but I recommend you sign up for the company newsletter - that way, you stay up-to-date with the latest offers, promotions, and bonuses. You can also avail of the daily free spin offer, plus there’s a €50 reward for the “Winner of the Day”.
It’s too late to enter the Bet Cup promotion to win a Porsche 911, surely one of the best online sports betting competitions! But with just a handful of participants left, it can’t be too long before Bet-at-home launches a new big prize competition. I’d love to see a promotion with a football betting theme next time.
What Games Can I Play?
There is a wide selection of games offered on this casino.
Live Casino
As well as being amongst the best online sports betting companies, Bet-at-home is also one of the best slots sites. There are no games like roulette or blackjack, so check out the best new casino sites or casinos with no deposit bonuses if that’s your preference. But I like the fact that with Bet-at-home, you can play online casino slots and bet live in one place. For me, that combination makes Bet-at-home one of the best online gambling sites.
Sportsbook
The Bet-at-home sportsbook gives you an excellent selection of ways to bet. Options include single, combi, system, and multiway bets. New players might find that choice overwhelming, but once you understand how everything works, placing bets soon becomes second nature, especially for live sports betting.
If you love to bet live, this is the site for live sports betting. And if you love football betting - or soccer betting, as our American friends say! - you’ll love the huge choice.
Football betting fans will enjoy the range and depth of coverage on offer, but Bet-at-home is not just about soccer betting. Other sports covered include Alpine skiing, American football, Aussie rules, basketball, biathlon, cross-country skiing, darts, Formula 1, golf, handball, ice hockey, NASCAR, rugby, ski jumping, snooker, and tennis.
I find Bet-at-home is great for winter sports, but sadly there’s currently no esports betting. That’s because esports betting is not allowed under German gambling legislation.
Bet-at-home on Mobile
There’s not much difference between the Bet-at-home app and using it on your computer. That can be a good thing or a bad thing. The best online sports betting apps often have a different setup for mobile, but having a common interface can be useful too.
It’s for you to decide whether Bet-at-home delivers the best online sports betting experience on mobile. For me, all the things I like about Bet-at-home - like the excellent football betting, the great bet live options, and the ease of use - place it amongst the best online sports betting apps.
Payment Methods
There are many ways to make a deposit with Bet-at-home, including bank transfer, giropay, MasterCard, NETELLER, PayPal, paysafecard, Skrill, Sofor, Trustly or VISA. The minimum deposit is €10.
Bet-at-home Withdrawal Time
Withdrawal times vary. In my experience, Skrill and NETELLER are pretty much instant. PayPal. Sofort and Trustly take up to 24 hours, VISA and MasterCard between 2- 3 days, and bank transfers between 3 to 7 days. For bank transfers, you can only make three withdrawals per month free of charge (it’s just 2 with Skrill): thereafter, a fee of €5 applies. There are also some limitations on how much you can withdraw.
Worth to mention, you can bet with Revolut too.
Customer Service
You can contact Bet-at-home customer service via live chat, telephone or email. There’s also a really helpful FAQs section that answers most of your queries without the need to speak to an agent. Some online reviews are quite critical of Bet-at-home’s customer service, but personally, I’ve never had an issue on that score.
Bet-at-home Licence
Bet-at-home is licensed by the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL) to offer sports betting and virtual slot games on the internet. These licences are both valid until 31 December 2027. Furthermore, Bet-at-home is also licensed to operate by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
Problems With Bet-at-home
It’s difficult to be too critical of Bet-at-home, especially if you like to bet live, or are a big fan of football betting. However, I think there are a few improvements that Bet-at-home could make. It could stop charging for additional withdrawals.
It could expand its coverage to include the likes of cricket and esports betting - although, as already mentioned, legislation currently forbids esports betting. Elsewhere in Europe, Bet-at-home supports esports betting, so the company is well-placed to introduce it should the regulations change.
One last thought - perhaps it’s time for Bet-at-home to upgrade its user interface - although I suspect I’m not the only one who likes its familiar, traditional look.
Bet-at-home FAQs
Find the answer to the common questions about Bet-at-home.
The registration process with Bet-at-home is straightforward but a little involved. You have to enter each field in a step-by-step process, as opposed to having one form where you can enter all your details at the same time. That said, you only have to do it once. You then click on your confirmation email to complete registration. Before you can play, you have to verify your account as per the terms of the German Interstate Treaty on Gambling to confirm your age and address.
There's a wide variety of withdrawal times with Bet-at-home, ranging from instantly to up to 7 days - it all depends on your payment method.
Unlike some esport betting and soccer betting companies, Bet-at-home’s parent company has been established in Europe for a long time. That gives it a certain credibility and level of security that some competitors lack and positions it amongst the best online sports betting sites for me. Moreover, Bet-at-home is licensed with both the GGL and the Malta Gaming Authority, meaning Bet-at-home is 100% legit.
